very glad I went in so blind, because this really pleasantly surprised me. Starts out so familiar, though still engaging and enjoyable, but spends the whole time morphing slowly into something distinct.
Across history, there's a kind of manhood which dies to keep itself alive. There's a freedom in that mystery and ambiguity, but freedom is only any good alongside hope; hope that someone will finally figure it out.
