Patrick Pryor’s review published on Letterboxd:
No one prepared me for Florence Pugh acting like an adult baby in the flashback sequences. There’s a scene where she’s in a classroom surrounded by tweens, and she screams and giggles and pouts and plays around like them. I guess she’s the only little woman that tried to portray some significant change in age and behavior though. Still a sharp adaptation that breathes new life into timeless issues and helps remind some jabronie like me why the original text was and is important.
