Trick 'r Treat 2007
I’ve watched this movie practically every year since it came out, hiking to a blockbuster when it first hit on word of mouth. It’s still a tight little box of terrors that I can still appreciate on a technical level even though I could probably recite the script from memory.

A Simple Plan 1998
An old professor of mine once said all film noir boils down to: You start out bad, you end up fucked.
So by that metric this flick is absolutely perfect.
