Very mixed feelings on this. I feel that Sam Raimi should have wrote this as well. I feel the story is very uninspired. Yeah it has Sam Raimi's style but i don't feel his passion. As a Superhero Hero film, yeah this goes into new grounds for the MCU. However, it doesn't even come close to the original Blade.

Snake Eyes 1998
I always loved this movie. The story is predictable but just for Nic Cage's performance and Brian De Palma's unique style. Or is it just the fact it was shot in the old Montreal Forum. It's one of those not perfect movies but i still love it. It has charm.

The Island 2005
The idea and premise of the movie was super fun to me. I loved the idea behind it. I just hated the execution. Maybe because Shaky cam was a thing back then. This could have been a lot more fun. The actors do a fine job but Micheal Bay made better films like The Rock (His Masterpiece) and Armageddon .
