Truly heart-wrenching, thanks in no small part to it's incredible young cast. It'll stick with you and grow more and more poignant in contemplation. A must-see!

A bit personal, but my oldest brother showed me this when I was 10 and it really did stick with me all these years. This just became my favourite film.

    Eighth Grade

Eighth Grade is as genuine and heartfelt as Josh Hamilton's character himself. I think anyone, from teens and adults alike, can sympathize with Kayla and her who's-better-than-who world. It's sharp humour, perfect lead and simple, yet visually appealing style make it a coming of age film that stands out from all the rest.

Mr. Burnham, you're a freakin' genius.

Such a simple, yet compelling story that'll just drown you in a wave of emotions. If I didn't know what beautiful filmmaking was, I definitely know now. It'll immerse you with the sounds and views of Mexico city that you can almost taste it!

    This device cures heartache

From what I thought would just be a skateboard centric documentary, came a raw, emotional story of self-reflection and growth done in the most heartbreaking, but beautiful way.
