Outside of the 3 scenes where Denzel does what Denzel does best… it’s forgettable. They do a lot of building for the story, which I get… but that’s not what I came here to see.
I saw someone say Denzel had a powerful screen presence and I agree that can’t be denied… that’s all this film had going for it.
Grade: D+
Took a couple days to calm down. Grand Turismo elevated my anxiety, motivated me, made me cry fountains… In the moment I was going to rate it 5/5 A+ and there’s really no reason why I still can’t do it, but a 4/5 B+ just seems right. This was by far way better than I could’ve ever imagined.

The list goes on... this is why they kneel... I was crying the whole damn movie (no, I’m not over exaggerating... this movie brought me to tears for its entire 2+ hour run time). Strong performances by Amandla Stenberg and Russell Hornsby... THIS IS AMERICA
