Some touching moments here and there, Redford is still very charismatic.
My dad would probably like this, or maybe my grandfather would have. That’s kind of the type of movie this is.
Redford’s last hurrah is not bad. Casey Affleck was trying but for the most part the direction was really bland, the pacing slow, the stakes low, some of the performances ranged from fine to bad. but I was somewhat entertained, and I always get sad about these sort of end of the career moments with old men. Really felt like a movie made simply for Robert Redford to close out his legendary career.
