  • Call Me by Your Name

    Call Me by Your Name

“Call me by your name and I'll call you by mine.”

In Northern Italy in 1983, seventeen year-old Elio begins a relationship with visiting Oliver, his father's research assistant, with whom he bonds over his emerging sexuality, their Jewish heritage, and the beguiling Italian landscape.

This erotic film has a great plot and story, great acting, and a beautiful score. Timotheè Chalamet was the stand out in this film with his beautiful portrayal of a young man who is torn between keeping his attraction to an older man a secret or experiencing young love.

  • Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

    Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

“What's the law on what ya can and can't say on a billboard?”

A mother personally challenges the local authorities to solve her daughter's murder when they fail to catch the culprit, by putting up 3 billboards outside the local town.

A dark comedy with a good plot, good acting, a good score. There are good subplots that flow well together with the main as well as a few surprises. Overall this movie was a great hit.

    4.5/5 Stars

  • Lady Bird

    Lady Bird

“People go by the names their parents give them, but they don't believe in God.”

In 2002, an artistically inclined seventeen-year-old girl comes of age in Sacramento, California. She learns the importance of family, friends and being true to herself.

An outstanding movie that made  me smile, cringe and laugh throughout the movie. Top knock acting and a great story line makes this a favorite of 2018.

  • I, Tonya

    I, Tonya

“America. They want someone to love, they want someone to hate.”

Competitive ice skater Tonya Harding rises amongst the ranks at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, but her future in the activity is thrown into doubt when her ex-husband intervenes.

A Mocumentary about figure skater Tonya Harding who’s image and personality is far from that of her beautiful and graceful competitors. This documentary style film tells the many sides of Tonya’s life and her struggle to be excepted by her peers and the judges as well as her infamous involvement of the beating of Nancy Kerrigan.

    5/5 Stars.

  • The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

    The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

The crime scene was not properly secured by Travis County Police. Two investigating officers were fatally wounded that day. This is the only known image of Thomas Hewitt, the man they call Leatherface. The case today still remains open

After picking up a traumatized young hitchhiker, five friends find themselves stalked and hunted by a deformed chainsaw-wielding killer and his family of equally psychopathic killers.

While most movies come across as terrifying but also fictional, Texas Chainsaw Massacre Take the…

  • A Nightmare on Elm Street

    A Nightmare on Elm Street

"If Nancy Doesn't Wake Up Screaming She Won't Wake Up At All..."

Several people are hunted by a cruel serial killer who kills his victims in their dreams. When the survivors are trying to find the reason for being chosen, the murderer won't lose any chance to kill them as soon as they fall asleep.

I am not a horror movie type of person, but I found this movie to be a different type of horror movie. It was campy and completely 80's I loved it and was shocked that I did. The story line was good and kept me on the edge of my seat.

  • American Sniper

    American Sniper

"If you think that this war isn't changing you you're wrong. You can only circle the flames so long."

Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle's pinpoint accuracy saves countless lives on the battlefield and turns him into a legend. Back home to his wife and kids after four tours of duty, however, Chris finds that it is the war he can't leave behind.

Clint Eastwood did it again for me. He brings his excellent directing skills to the plate in the…

    My Week with Marilyn

" All people ever see is Marilyn Monroe. As soon as they realize I'm not her, they run. "

Colin Clark, an employee of Sir Laurence Olivier's, documents the tense interaction between Olivier and Marilyn Monroe during production of The Prince and the Showgirl.

Michelle Williams nailed her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe, She literally became her. I was blown away by how realistic and sincere she was in this film. She embodied Marilyn's voice, walk and overall demeanor. When I…

    The Shining

" He came as the caretaker, but this hotel had its own guardians - who'd been there a long time"

A family heads to an isolated hotel for the winter where an evil and spiritual presence influences the father into violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from the past and of the future.

I am not a lover of horror movies, most of the time after watching the few horror films I have seen i would be to…

  • Interstellar

The end of Earth will not be the end of us.

A group of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

The Nolan brothers are both extremely talented men in both story telling and visual art. I watched this movie without knowing much about it, I loved the story and the characters in this movie. Great movie but i know i cant wrap my head around the entire movie. But its a must a see!
