Paul’s review published on Letterboxd:
Definitely could’ve expanded more a few things but it was constricted to eight episodes so assayas was kinda stuck leaving it here. I loved it. The acting ese great, the characters were interesting and the story was great. I almost prefer this to 1996 because of how much more we get to SEE of the adaptation but it still pretty much almost ends up on the same level. 1996 is better but this is still the best miniseries I’ve seen in awhile.
