Burning 2018
It's been a week since I watched Burning. I let it sit before reviewing it because I wasn't sure what this movie was trying to tell me. To be honest, I am still not sure.
It sets itself up as a melancholic love story but then slowly turns into a social commentary about class differences and morality, and then quickly turns into thriller with such nonchalance that you'd find it hard to believe it was trying to be anything else…

Disappearance 2019
This was so bad I don't know where to start. This is supposed to be some kind of psychological thriller but ends up being an incoherent rambling of somebody drunk on absinthe. Actually, that's unfair. That would be entertaining, at least.
The acting is so wooden you could chop it up with an axe, and the script makes as much sense as a toddler's crayon scribbles. The "banana" scene is the most hilarious part of the movie and it was not meant to be funny.
Anyway, don't watch it. Please, for the love of God, don't.
