Worth watching just for the bridge set piece. Holy shit. If that doesn't get your heart pumping, you are clinically dead. The movie itself is mostly just fine. Nothing amazing, but worth seeing. The Tangerine Dream score is probably the best part of the whole experience.
A movie so bad that it makes the previous installments worse in hindsight. I knew M. Night would have a difficult time matching the tones of Unbreakable and Split into one movie. But man, this is goofy. If you didn't love McAvoy in Split, you will HATE him here. One of my most disappointing trips to the theater in a good long while. M Night has a lot to say here, he's just not very good at saying it.
Honestly, this is still great. A great comic book movie before the comic book movie boom. Also, probably the last really good Bruce Willis performance. This could have gone horribly wrong, given that it takes its sweet ass time with the origins and reveal, but it absolutely works. For once, you need all that build for Dunn to figure out who he is and who he can be. Good shit.
