They just don’t make fun movies like this anymore.
Hanks is such an amazing dramatic actor but I hope to see him in a comedy again one day. His physical comedy has always been top notch.

Punch-Drunk Love 2002
I’ve seen this film at least 10 times now and I love it more each time. Adam Sandler and Emily Watson are wonderful. Still Sandler’s best acting performance, in my opinion. Philip Seymour Hoffman is a scene-stealer. And that constant panic inducing score is frustratingly perfect.
I also love the Superman allegory throughout the film, if that is indeed what PTA was going for.
