I think the way Wes Craven plays with audience expectations in this movie is so creative and smart. The biggest example of this is how he makes you think there are a lot of plausible suspects, most of the characters have some kind of suspicious attitude, and he plays with it until the end. And the amount of references he puts in that final sequence is enough to blow the mind of any fan of the genre. I loved!
