The Wife is a film that describes how a woman will always be under a man's shadow and how disgustingly ugly our society is. At least that's what I got from it.
I would say that I enjoyed some of its aspects but overall the sloppy directing and the not so good/boring editing made it dull...sometimes. Glenn Close gave an exceptional performance and she obviously was the only good part of the movie. In my opinion she deserves to get an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress but I don't know if I want her to win.
