was this movie made to make foreigners think that french people aren’t that bad for eating horses?
i freaking loved Get Out and Us but this wasn’t to my liking, extremely disappointed but still standing, or should i say- riding- /applause.
I loved The Haunting of Bly Manor and watched this without knowing it was an another adaptation of the same book. Noticed 10 minutes into the movie hence understood everything quite easily. My opinion is very biased but I enjoyed it. Even if the mini-serie adaptation of The Turn of the Screw is far superior.
That one is a big no. As my much as I like Lars Von Trier style and filmography, that one wasn’t in my liking.
I accepted Nymphomaniac, I accepted The House That Jack Built, I won’t accept both together in Antichrist.
This one time a flawless casting of two people isn’t going to save it, and I summon all meliorative words to Charlotte Gainsbourg.
And without sounding like an over-exaggerating feminist: of couse it’s the woman going mad.
