This is the first time I’ve felt let down by QT. There are so many things I love about his filmmaking, but very few of those actually came through for me in this one.

There are good things here, but almost everything feels disjointed and bloated. I’m left to wonder if this is the result of post-Weinstein Tarantino being given too much freedom to do whatever he pleases, to the point where he lacks any real direction.
