I watch a lot of movies. When you grow up in the country with 3-ish channels you get books and movies.
Enjoying it. Until we had a fight scene where I could barely see. Action sequences in the dark take me out of the action. They bore me. They take me out of the movie as I wait for someone to turn in a light, go outside, or the fight to be over so I can see again.
Overall, it was a sleek, measured yet forgettable movie.
I was skeptical about seeing this movie because it starred Adam Sandler. I took a chance on it because it wasn’t an Adam Sandler Movie. It had high scores on Letterboxd and I had seen a couple of people I follow online mention it was enjoyable.
