Blade Runner 1982
I went my whole life never seeing this film. Decided to change that when my girlfriend was out of town.
I liked this one just more than the 2049 sequel. Beautiful setup and I was in awe of the effects capable in the mod/late 80s.
Harrison Ford is obviously amazing. He is the perfect hero figure coming off his performance in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Rutger Hauer plays a phenomenal villain

Nope 2022
Admittedly, aliens scare the shit out of me. I remember seeing Alien Abduction as a child and it scarred me for life.
That’s why I was so excited to see Nope. I don’t normally go to the theatre by myself, but my lady was out of town so I checked this out. It blew me away. First time seeing Keke Palmer in anything and she brought so much life to this movie. Daniel Kaluuya obviously brings his best and carries the whole film. The constant sense of fear made this one of my favorite sci-fi watches to date.
