There is not a singlular false not in this film, A gem of a decade, grips you right from the start and never lets go, thanks to a level of a screenplay i’ve never seen anywhere else

Dare I say this? Red, however acclaimed it may be, was just okay for me. Just couldn’t quite get into it as much as i hoped, although the story is an interesting one and interestingly told, too. Many people adore the ending to the trilogy too, to which I have to say I agree to some extent, classic Kieslowskin going over the limits yet showing how eventful life can be at times.

Kinda loved the atmosphere this film has, and it stuck in my head for a long time after it. Story-wise I haven’t seen anything like it before, not sure if I ever will. Brilliant!

Preston Sturges’s old classic romcom still works after all these years, certainly not least because of the DYNAMITE combo that is Henry Fonda and Barbara Stanwyck. My god this is fun and exciting!
