Gave this another watch after hearing Quentin Tarantino gush about it on The Rewatchables podcast. A solid thriller from Tony Scott, whose filmography is loaded with some of the great genre films of the 80s and 90s. Sadly, this was his last film. On second watch I found it disconcerting how low and close to the train the news helicopters were flying only to realize that's how Scott got some of the crazy shots of the speeding train. Many have aped Scott's style but none have delivered such consistent thrills.
