Kyle’s review published on Letterboxd:
The movie is interesting as the two men are each giving their side of the story (with various nuances between each tale), but The Last Duel really took off once the woman's story took center stage. Jodie Comer's acting brought a level of authenticity to her character's story that kept me riveted. Great to see that Ridley Scott can still direct both large-scale and one-on-one battles; I really had no idea how the duel was going to end. I really enjoyed Ben Affleck's choices as the Count and want more of this Affleck in the future.
