A list of Play for Today episodes, single dramas shown by the BBC between 1970 and 1984. Although these were standalone plays, some did have sequels, spin-off TV shows or theatrical remakes, as mentioned in the notes.
After spending some time adding a lot of these to the website, I believe this list is now complete at 319 plays. I had to do a fair amount of research to determine whether to include some, seeing as various sources differ. Many of the plays are now considered lost, but they have been included anyway. Some have screened under other strands or as standalone plays previous to or following their screening as a Play for Today. This list is ordered by first transmission as a Play for Today. The usual debatability applies.
