Dave Jackson’s review published on Letterboxd:
Unsurprisingly, Bridge of Spies is a tight, thoughtful, technically impressive and nicely executed affair. It is, after all, Spielberg. I mean yes, Spielberg in the twilight of his career is not exactly as thrilling as Jaws or Indy Spielberg, but it's impressive that he's still cranking out decent films. Everything works. Even Tom Hanks, who I normally find a bit too hammy. Like most Spielberg films—old and new—it gets a little on the nose in some moments, but overall old mate Steve restrains himself. Solid.
