While some of the events may be different (due to time constraints), this is a pretty solid live action film. The first hollow fight doesn’t really look all that great due to the odd fast movements (in fact it just looked bad), but every hollow fight after that it is pretty good. Some things from the anime/manga were also changed in order to be a bit more realistic such as Rukia and Ichigo’s hair (Rukia no longer having the bang in the middle of her face and now on the side and Ichigo’s hair not being a ridiculous orange). The ending made it to where it could just be a stand alone or they could potentially do a sequel, though I don’t think one would would be that great and I feel like too many things would be cut in order to make it.
