When Film Twitter finds out this movie exists they’re gonna have Polanski assassinated.

In 2019, there are two Americas. We are a binary populace at war with itself. The Tethered are, as the young son notes, “us,” (meaning fellow Americans- Red Lupita literally says “we are Americans!”), but where the progressive folks bicker over petty differences and distract ourselves with trivial nonsense (staring at our phones, buying boats to keep up with the neighbors), the Tethered are a hive mind whose solidarity has us at a lethal disadvantage. They’re basement dwellers unified by a single-minded bloodlust, a penchant for wearing red, and an obsession with forming a symbolic wall across the American landscape. 🤔🤔🤔
