A beautiful, elegant film of unbelievably perverse subject matter. I would never dream of giving away the realization that Deborah Kerr's character reaches about an hour in. I will only say that it left me disgusted, unable to lift my jaw back into position for the remainder of the film. Just like the best horror movies should.
