Lush as hell but with its darker elements, like the Mozart music heavily featured on the soundtrack—very fitting.
One of the most gorgeous films I've seen in a long time. I admit to not being able to interpret the whole doppelganger thing, but maybe that's not the right way to look at the movie. What I did focus on watching it was how sensual the movie was, how it focused on texture, sound, and the little poetic details in the world. It's a movie that really loves life and was overall an uplifting experience for me.
