The choice to keep the focus on Armstrong while depicting him as emotionally detached will understandably turn a lot of folks off, but I think it's a great one. I'm content just seeing him as a flawed person who did an important thing without there being some unsubtle arc forced on him.
Also this is gonna absolutely WRECK anyone who gets motion sick easily.
