Next Goal Wins 2023
Not nearly as bad as people are saying!
The first act is disjointed but it really comes together in the end!
Never been a big fan of Taika but there is something here worth appreciating and that is the genuine sweetness of the supporting characters and the distinct pacific island humor from Taika.

Good, beautiful atmosphere, but seriously lacking in motivation and substance especially in the third act.
It works so much better as a story about an awkward guy and his rich, popular friend and his family. Explore the characters and their relationship as much as this film allows (not much unfortunately) and DO NOT succumb to meaningless shock value!

This was like if God made a drug just for me
Funny, Focused, and Wicked
It reminded me of the best vacation of my life wherein the friends I was with found themselves in a 4-way love “entanglement”. Needless to say, intense romantic and sexual Drama ensued. It was an incredible experience and a privilege to watch firsthand.
This movie took me back to that trip.
Viewing drama, especially in regards to relationships and sex, is my guilty pleasure and apparently so are early 2000s British dramedies.
