Andrew Stasiulis’s review published on Letterboxd:
One of the greatest existentialist adventures ever captured.
The last time I saw this was at a screening with William Friedkin In attendance. He enraptured the audience with stories of deep dish pizza, old Chicago infanticide, and the importance of hiring a convicted arsonist to create a convincing explosion.
The tragedies of fate filtered through mud, blood, and nitro glycerin. Holy shit this movie kicks ass.
