Why did this get remade? The original wasn’t even good either.

The only reason I’m not giving this a 1/10 is because there are a lot of so bad it’s funny moments.
The best way I can describe this movie is conflicting.
This movie wants to be both an arthouse film and a marvel movie, which are like ice cream and pickles to each other.
One scene will contain discussion of humanity and life, while also containing marvel humor.
Another scene will contain visually pleasing cinematography, while also containing obnoxious editing and big CGI battles.
I like the ambition, but the execution is just wrong.
