    Going for a walk afterwards I got a free t-shirt from a “Nike and Volkswagen pop-up” in a parking lot on Broome St, then got dumplings from the place at Broome and Eldridge which is the best as far as I’ve noticed, for a smallish place. I most liked the parts in the film that kind of abstractly dealt with dispelling the various issues he says he amassed in his age. Like the day to day battle to have pleasant and fulfilling days. But when it felt like it was addressing that, not so often in the writing or story specifically.

    I saw this on Sunday and it feels like it took a few days to fully collect my thoughts - probably due to not figuring out how to sleep well and whatever else - but what I'm left with most is the film's metaphor of weight and gravity, as played in the scene where about natural ability to stay on the earth in the zooming solar system or whatever, but in a breezy 90 minute film…
