Great crime black comedy from John Michael McDonagh and it feels like a companion piece to Martin McDonagh's In Bruges. Brendan Gleeson is great as Sergeant Gerry Boyle and the supporting cast is top notch. The film has an authentic Irish feel to it and these Irish accents and characters are some of the best out on film.
Wow what a film, brilliant in every way. Armie Hammer gives the best performance of his career and Timothée Chalamet is something else. The film has a great feel to it and the scenery gives that something extra to the story that really works. One of the best films of 2017 and possible one of the best I have ever seen.
This is a really great film that should be seen by everyone. Willem Defoe kills it in every scene and you can see that he is struggling with everyday life just as much as everyone else in this film. All the kids in here are spectacular and there is a lot of realness to everyone's performance. At some points in this film you forget your watching a drama and you think your watching a documentary. Not many films can do that. Highly recommended and one of the best of the year.
