history as an emotional discipline. lots of unsettling interactions that rub me the wrong way (even if, like many others, i also find it impossible to hate robin williams). the transition between spaces leaves more unsaid than not, but understanding larry (ben stiller) as the arbiter of colonial discourse in perpetuated myth via capital investment & personalized involvement in cultural expressions of understood (feminine) attachment? perhaps it's better that i leave my seven-year old self behind. american exceptionalism is a(n "earned") given.
