Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Terminator 2: Judgment Day ★★★★½

I know now why you cry. I've always been horribly distracted while watching this movie by my own questions about how the T-1000 works logistically. Like, okay, he's made of some kind of liquid metal, but is all of his machinery that powers him on the inside like the T-800 all made of the same stuff? Ditto his artificial intelligence circuitry? I just don't get it. The people he takes the form of are different sizes; what's the biggest and smallest he could go? The liquid metal makes beating him all but impossible, so it's extremely convenient he ends up frozen by liquid nitrogen and melted in molten metal. Anyway, this is an excellent movie, in part because of how it just plows forward with the T-1000 character, embracing its pulpy impossibleness and never stopping to answer my questions.
