Palestine as a place full of upstart and exaggerating neighbors, small and petty rivalries and an atmosphere of uncertainty. Paris as a stifled city full of subtle persecution where everything looks neat (especially women) but freedom seems to be an illusion. And New York, a wild place in which everyone's packing and there's some crazy characters, including careless film producers, angels and Death eating a sandwich. Suleiman paints the world as a realm of insanity in which one can't do better than observe and go with the flow. The stop-motion with everyday objects made me think of another satiric movie with social an political commentary, S He.

There's nothing here, really. People talking about their community, it might be very local and maybe those who belong to that place can relate, but I didn't get anything from it. Yes, they describe a diverse population, just like that of thousands of other places. They want to be artists, so do many youngsters all over the world. Nothing special to this short.
