Nico’s review published on Letterboxd:
Wax is the purest form of outsider art that I have ever seen put to film.
I love getting a glimpse into things that people are boldly and fully passionate about that I had never even thought to think about. Wax is the movie equivalent of falling down a late night YouTube rabbit hole into a channel with thousands of videos with barely any views and being simultaneously enamored and bewildered at what you have found. This movie is glorious, confusing, mesmerezing, beautiful, and is practically begging me to give it another viewing.
Wax scratches a deep, unknowable itch in my soul that few things do.
