Nothing exists but experiences, things Iโ€™m shaped by which will continue to morph my mind/body and spirit (mind/body and spirit, mind/body and spirit). Even what is seemingly collective gets soon quieted down to an entirely subjective and almost endless process, absorption and understanding leading to change, one more element to add to the list but nonetheless equally integral to my internal structure.ย

    The Howling: 7/8

Single-handedly the worst this franchise has to offer and the best thing everโ€ฆprobably.

How is this a movie again?

Because despite my initially horrible reaction (mouth agape, eyes fixated on the putrid screen, names rolling in and out of the laptop floating into my goddamn field of view, grey matter percentage quickly decreasing to a negative number, yada yada yada dead brain), I have developed a strange condition: a mysterious obsession and fascinating with whatever the hellโ€ฆ

    The Howling: 6/8

Howling VI, or โ€œThe Freaksโ€, is probably the most exciting and ambitious in the saga since 3. Itโ€™s not perfect at all, and itโ€™s far from my favorite of the sequels, but itโ€™s definitely the most...diverse.
I wouldnโ€™t be able to explain it, but this one emanates huge Clive Barker vibes for me, from the direction to some of the characters, and the entire โ€œnowhere, Americaโ€ and freakshow settings do that type of atmosphere lots of favors.ย โ€ฆ

This is not creative at all. Couldโ€™ve gone all in and actually made something crazy. :/
Iโ€™d tell myself that the sequel might improve on everything but Iโ€™d be lying, if itโ€™s from the same guys it wonโ€™t be any good either.ย

Piglet nooo Piglet stop, stop Piglet, stooop, no NO NO PIGLET, STOOOOP, Piglet noooo, goddd stop Piglet, NOOOOOOOOOO

Actual dramatic dialogue from the movie.

Youโ€™re laughing uh. Cristopher Robin is getting chased and whipped by 7 feet men with animal masks and youโ€™re laughing. (100% REAL)

Iโ€™m so sorry you had to see this first Mexico, genuinely.
