I have never watched this film so went straight in with the extended cut because my flatmate wanted to watch it. I wanted to watch it in 3D before 2D but have still yet to find a way of watching so this review is for 2D.

The film was absolutely amazing! I was skeptical going in because I knew that lots of it was CGI and that the plot divides fans.

The film itself is beautiful. Not one time did I find myself questioning anything I was viewing and I really got immersed into the film from the very beginning. I thought that the plot was fine for the film and worked really well.

World-building was great throughout and I really got a great sense of the world and the characters who live there.

Overall I would say that this was an amazing film that I will probably obsess over for ages. Highly recommend.
