A tortured artist. That’s what some are saying?
Because Michelangelo’s self-portrait in the Sistine Chapel isn’t the epitome of a tortured artist, it’s Bo Burnham. He is the TRUE tortured artist. Crippled, alienated, and misunderstood. I’ll remember that when I visit Rome and stare at the flayed skin painted in The Last Judgment.
(More Sarcasm: The one who’s going to be affected by the global warming crisis, systematic oppression, inequality is Bo Burnham. I’m glad he’s able to speak about all of this, because of him real change is coming our way.)
