this was fucking depressing; beautiful and full of melancholy but ultimately deeply saddening.
Inside Llywen Davis is an interesting study on a melancholic character. Stylistically, it reflects the mood and let me say, it was exquisite. Truly one of the most beautiful movies I’ve seen with the cinematography and settings. Like I’m not one to listen to folk music but I can’t deny how absolutely beautiful the music was and how it made me feel.
Also, Oscar Isaac’s performance? A work of art. Truly something I didn’t expect and I’m shocked, and his voice?? Oh wow, I fell more in love with him.
