It actually feels like something that should have come out in the 1990s but also I cried three times so who cares? I’m happy it exists. I laughed a lot!
Great album. A solid way to listen to the songs, even though I did not find any of the insights to the song making process particularly revealing.
Would have gone up half a star if it ended with Taylor forcing Jack to reveal when Lorde’s album was dropping.
There is quite a bit I do not know about "American Gigolo." For one thing, I can't tell if the film is misogynistic and homophobic, or just so melodramatic that all of its characters seem a bit like caricatures. I also can't quite tell if the film is legitimately well made, or just so strange that I can't help but become absorbed by it. But one thing is for sure: I was never bored by this movie.
