    Star Wars

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

C3PO and R2D2's adventures is a movie that tells the story of two robots and their significant role in saving the world. Chock-full of charme, this movie (that started an insane franchise) manages to create a universe full of unique races and species, characters with lots of personality (and also, Luke) and a world that just feels vivid and living. Feeling a bit more lighthearted throughout than people give it credit for, it's simply entertaining.
    On the topic of lightheartedness…

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

Great comedy. Big props for getting actual NASCAR commentators, and heck, even Dale Jr. himself to show up. Generally also doesn't really portrait the sport as anything it isn't - except obviously the comic exaggarations and stuff that made sense for the story. (And the strange downshifting in the middle of a Super Speedway.) Story itself might not be something super special, but does it really need to? Very enteratining movie throughout.

  • Green Book

    Green Book

Great road movie of a black man in the 60s touring the South.

  • Hot Shots!

    Hot Shots!

    Great slapstick, funny jokes.

  • Gone in 60 Seconds

    Gone in 60 Seconds

One of the most amazing car chase scenes in film history. 45 minutes of a beautiful Mach 1 Mustang jumping, drifting and hooning around.
