Prantik Sengupta’s review published on Letterboxd:
Undoubtedly Mehrjui's magnum opus, and one of the better films Iran has ever produced. It's sad that Mehrjui is often overlooked as a frontline filmmaker of the country. Hamoun invoked memories of Fellini's 8½ in dollops, and yet had that intrinsic originality to it. A brilliant watch!
