Some films hurts your mind, some films hurt you emotionally. And then there's Satoshi kon who hurts you in both way and specially with this film. Last time when I saw the film I loved the visual, but this time I can't even express through review how numb I felt after watching that end 10 mins sequence. The way this film blends reality and the films Chiyoko starred in so seamlessly never fails to put me in a state of awe. That put together with a simplistic yet effective story make this a must see for everyone; anime fan or not. Top-notch running animation with great editing in transitioning between movies and reality.
There are some sequence when you think it's reality and actually it's film and vice versa tells you how great the writing of this film is. Fuck you Satoshi Kon for hurting me at almost 10 PM... I'm not gonna have a great sleep today for sure. Take a bow Master. ❤😭🙏
