Finally caught up with this one. Even though clichés, closures and generous dollops of forced romanticism similar to that seen in director's earlier attempt rear their head now and then throughout the movie, things are much mellow and well handled this time around and the movie focuses on wholesome entertainment which it delivers. The director shows improved maturity and sensibility in handling each characters story and delivers on telling a gripping one that intertwines the life of the protagonists. Even though this is her sophomore attempt, after Bangalore Days, I'm pretty confident in saying that at this rate Anjali will be among the top few directors working in the Malayalam industry at the moment, but then again there isn't much competition around.
