Kevin Bacon is great, all the actors are good, and decent amount of time is spent getting to know them, but maybe a little too much. Nothing happens in this bloated film.

For whatever reason the Comanche version wasn’t available so it was a little distracting when the Frenchmen showed up. Overall, great film. I wish more movies has smaller scale stakes like this. So tired of world ending movies and overly bombastic action films. They can be fun but so can this. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 2016

Review for the Ultimate Edition
By adding one line about Bruce's mom at the beginning of the movie, and a couple more lines of dialogue from Superman during his plea with Batman at the end, this version managed to make the much maligned Martha Scene make sense AND be emotionally resonant. The movie is balls wacky, cohesive, and very well paced. The first two hours are drama, the final hour is battle sequences.
