This type of weird and absurd will definitely work for some but not for others. For me it did. Sure it’s not as great as Faults or The Art of Self-Defense, and some people will just call it a poor man’s Lanthimos, but I found this pretty enjoyable.

A great B-movie creature feature with cool atmosphere, great pacing and a very cool pre-CGI animatronic fx and a real live alligator. There’s also way more character development than I expected in a movie that I thought was just gonna be a silly 80s Jaws rip-off with a giant crocodile.

Definitely one of the best fan films out there. This really was impressive! I always liked the idea of using found footage for a slasher.  Just give this guy the rights, budget and freedom to make a Friday the 13th feature. Definitely inspires me to take an old beloved horror franchise and make a fan film.
