  • Kolobos

It's the late 90s and horror is becoming progressively more techno-centric in its themes. It's still the late 90s and slashers are starting to pop up again here and there. Stick with me, because here we get Kolobos, a pre-Saw trap movie that's also a low budget 80s slasher.

Goddamn, this is a wonderfully surprising flick. I'm known to love violent garbage, my friends say I like "trashy VHS" and honestly I don't mind that at all. I hate safe,…

    The Collingswood Story

Another junk food movie for me and my sad sack self. I recently decided to go through a bunch of found footage that I had missed as a youngin. I've seen a lot of the formative stuff, but these lesser known ones I had never been aware of really interested me. The Collingswood Story seems like the first webcam horror, it at least is the earliest one I personally am aware of and that's enough for me to need to…

    Scream 4

After lying dormant for a little bit over a decade, Craven fires back into his iconic genre reinventing series with SCREAM 4. With SCREAM 4 I always recalled it being my favorite of the sequels.…

    The Fly II

How the fuck do you make a follow up to the jaw dropping The Fly? Well option one, the best option, is you don’t. The second, I mean I can’t be The Fly II that’s all I’m saying. This is such a low tier movie, without its connection to the previous film it’s a weak as hell movie.Β

The story is a decent effort, of course you need to follow the possible thread of Seth’s mutated sperm causing some…

Slow, enthralling and sad - a wonderful expression of grief.

    Found footage gold.

    Everything Everywhere All at Once

I can’t believe this lived up to the hype. I’m seeing everyone from the cinephiles to the general audience absolutely loosing their shit over Everything Everywhere All At OnceΒ so I made my way to the theaters this morning to experience it myself.Β

Holy shit this movie is incredible.

I laughed, I cried for minutes on end, I was blown away by impressive camera work and beautifully worded dialogue. Encompassing all film in a way that is truly indescribable.Β

I can’t say anything about this film other than the one word that conveys everything about it:
