    Throws too many different horror movie tropes into the mix to feel like it has a clear direction - did the mom's sister subplot need to be in the movie? - and doesn't commit to its best or most interesting ideas, but the ending is surprisingly strong and goes in a very unpredictable direction. The cover of 'Pet Sematary', originally by the Ramones, was good enough to bump the rating up by half a star.
